How:
  1. Apply LEXOL Leather Cleaner sparingly to a damp sponge and gently clean off any dirt.
  2. To keep leather apparel soft, follow cleaning by placing a small amount of LEXOL Leather Conditioner on a clean sponge and gently rub into apparel.
  3. Let sit for a few minutes, then wipe with a clean dry cloth.

Footwear Care

Taking good care of leather shoes and boots not only helps them look good but also helps prolong their life. Regardless of how much your leather shoes or boots cost, it is important to clean, condition and protect them. 
 
LEXOL products are not recommended for suede or extremely soft leathers. 
 
How:
  1. Apply LEXOL Leather Cleaner sparingly to a damp sponge and gently clean off any dirt.
  2. Apply LEXOL Leather Conditioner to a clean sponge and gently rub into footwear.
  3. Let sit for a few minutes, then wipe with a clean dry cloth.
  4. For light color leather, use LEXOL Leather Quick Care, a neatsfoot-based formula that cleans and protects without darkening your leather. 

Sports Equipment Care

Problem:
I just purchased a baseball glove and it is too stiff. 
 
Solution:
LEXOL Leather Conditioner does a wonderful job lubricating the leather fibers, while maintaining the integrity of the stitching. 
 
How:
  1. Pour a small amount of LEXOL Leather Conditioner onto a clean cloth and apply it all over the glove and the lacing.
  2. Work it into the leather, preferably with your fingers. Take your time and really work it in. There should not be any LEXOL Leather Conditioner remaining on the surface of the glove. The entire glove should be conditioned, especially the inside pocket.
  3. Repeat, if needed. The glove should be pliable and can now be molded or broken in to your liking. It is best to immediately play catch with the conditioned glove or at least put the glove on and throw a ball into the pocket repeatedly.
 
NOTE: It is best to store your mitt with a baseball in the pocket. A pre-softened glove should be ready for game use in three or four days, and an “old school” baseball glove may take two to three weeks.
